Menno de Jong is only 37 years old, making him one of the youngest producers with worldwide recognition, and possibly in the future one of the most recognized DJs in the world, noted for his rapid rise and recognition in electronic and trance music. He is also ranked number 10, in the addict trance, the annual top 100 Trance DJs poll.
De Jong comes from a musical family and started experimenting with music at a young age in his father’s music studio. In high school, he already performed at friends’ parties and in discos. He is a pioneer of podcast and internet radio.
While he took up DJing as a teenager, he first established himself as a producer with the release of “Guanxi” on the British label Anjunabeats in 2004.
De Jong has since performed in more than 25 countries, at clubs and events such as Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Creamfields, Trance Energy, Sensation White, Mysteryland, Amnesia in Ibiza, Love Parade in Berlin, The Gaudi Arena in Moscow & WMC in Miami. .
